Answer
What happens if the crew does not use the tool?
If the signed usage threshold is missed after one 30-day remediation window, the final 20 percent of the Build fee is waived. That holds provided your side supplied the sponsor, access, data, training time and rollout participation the plan depended on.
How the commitment works
Before the Build starts, both sides agree on one behavior metric for the workflow and a threshold for it. An example is the share of eligible jobs completed in the tool before the end of the shift. The count comes from your operating records, not from what entered our tool, so the number cannot be padded by the tool itself.
After release there is a 30-day live-use acceptance window. If the threshold is not met at the end of it, there is one 30-day remediation window to close the gap. If it is still missed after that, the final 20 percent of the Build fee is waived.
What your side has to supply
The waiver depends on the plan being carried out on both sides. Your side supplies the sponsor, the access, the data, the training time and participation in the rollout. If those were not supplied, the missed threshold is not a failure of the tool, and the waiver does not apply.
Why we tie the fee to use
A tool that works but sits unused fixes nothing. The WERCS case is a full system that went live and that the team did not move onto. That lesson is why every engagement starts with the crew that will use the tool, with the number that proves use written into the contract before building begins. Logins, training attendance and a sense that it looks good do not count as use.
Questions people ask
How is use measured?
With one behavior metric agreed before the Build starts, counted from your own operating records rather than from what entered our tool.
What is the usage threshold at acceptance?
At least 80 percent of eligible units must complete the agreed workflow in the tool during the final ten business days of the live-use window, with quality checks passing and no critical defect open.
Do you guarantee savings or revenue?
No. We do not guarantee revenue, savings or headcount. We commit to use.
