Field-to-office workflow automation

Field-to-office workflow automation means what the crew learns on site reaches the office complete, the same day, without anyone retyping it. We map where your job information starts and where it gets lost, then build one tool around how your crew already works so the office gets what it needs.

The problem

The people in the field know what happened on the job: the hours, the parts, the extra work, the photos, what the customer said. The office needs all of it to schedule, bill and answer the phone. In most companies it travels by memory, paper, text messages and a phone call at the end of the day, and some of it never arrives. That is the field-to-office split.

Who it fits

Contractors, field service and industrial companies with crews or technicians out every day and an office that depends on what they bring back. Typical fits are HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, roofing, facilities maintenance and utility crews.

What you get

One tool, scoped in the Workflow Spec to the problem you have and the named group of people who will use it. Examples of what that tool does:

  • the job ticket, photos and sign-off are captured once in the field and arrive at the office already organized by job
  • a change to the schedule or the crew reaches the people it affects, not just the dispatcher
  • the office can see where a job stands without calling anyone

How it works with your software

We do not replace your field service, scheduling or accounting system. The tool reads and writes through what you already run, with up to two standard integrations in the Build, and it never becomes a second place the truth lives.

What you own

After payment you own the tool, your data and your production accounts, with the copyright assignment in writing.

Scope and price

A Workflow Spec at $15,000 fixed, then a Production Build from $60,000, fixed after the Spec. The last 20 percent of the Build fee is waived if the signed usage threshold is missed after one 30-day remediation window, provided the agreed conditions on your side were met.

What we decline

Requests to automate everything at once without a specific workflow, work with no executive owner, and tools that would act outside the company on their own. The full list is in what work do you decline.

Questions people ask

What does field-to-office automation fix?

Late or missing job tickets and daily reports, photos that never reach the job file, schedule and crew changes that do not reach the people affected, and office staff calling the field to find out what happened.

Will my crew need a new app?

Only if the Spec shows it is the simplest way. We build around what the crew already carries and the steps they already take, because a tool the crew will not use fixes nothing.

Does it replace our field service software?

No. It reads and writes through the systems you already run and never becomes a second system of record. A Build includes up to two standard integrations.
